Softball Recap: Fillmore Central Takes a Loss

Fillmore Central lost against York back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Panthers came up short against the Dukes, falling 13-5. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Malorie Lawver made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Fillmore Central's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for York, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-4.

Fillmore Central didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 13-8 loss against Fairbury on the 6th. As for York, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 9-2 victory against Milford on the 6th.
