Soccer Game Preview: Glenbard North vs. Glenbard West

The Glenbard North Panthers will head out to challenge the Glenbard West Hilltoppers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Glenbard North's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Glenbard North's tournament run continued when they took on Wheaton North on Tuesday. The Panthers and the Falcons finished up their matchup with a 1-1 draw.

Glenbard North's goal came courtesy of Collin Munguia, who's now up to five this season.

Meanwhile, Glenbard West waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Red Devils. That's two games straight that Glenbard West have won by just one goal.

Glenbard West's win bumped their record up to 17-6-1. With that draw, Glenbard North's record moves to 6-11-3.

Glenbard North came up short against Glenbard West in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 2-0. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
