Truckee has gone 9-1 against Lowry recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Wolverines will look to defend their home pitch against the Buckaroos at 3:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Truckee is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another highly-ranked state team: Incline, who was ranked 25th in their home state at the time (Truckee was ranked eighth). The Wolverines' defense stepped up to hand the Highlanders a 4-0 shutout on Thursday. The result was nothing new for Truckee, who have now won nine matchups by four goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Lowry's game on Saturday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They won by a goal and slipped past West Wendover 2-1.

David Becerra and Tomas Becerra scored both of Lowry's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Truckee's victory bumped their record up to 12-1-1. As for Lowry, their win bumped their record up to 4-12-5.

Truckee took their victory against Lowry when the teams last played back in August by a conclusive 5-1 score. Will the Wolverines repeat their success, or do the Buckaroos have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
