Recap: Greater Johnstown Trojans vs. River Valley Panthers

Ava Persichetti was her usual excellent self, scoring 25 points along with eight rebounds and three steals for River Valley. That makes it six consecutive games in which Persichetti has scored at least 25% of River Valley's points. Rylee Kitner was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with eight rebounds.
Greater Johnstown now has a losing record at 2-3. As for River Valley, their win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-2.
Greater Johnstown's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Bishop Carroll at 6:00 p.m. on December 20th. As for River Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against Homer-Center at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Pennsylvania (Homer-Center is ranked 250th, while River Valley is ranked 247th).
