Odessa faced St. Michael the Archangel in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Guardians with a sharp 15-7 win. That eight run margin sets a new team best for the Bulldogs this season.

The victory snapped Odessa's losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 3-4 record. As for St. Michael the Archangel, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.

Coincidentally, Odessa and St. Michael the Archangel will both be playing Sherwood the next time they take the field. The Guardians will head out to face the Marksmen at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Bulldogs will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
