Soccer Recap: Exeter's Loss Ends Six-Game Winning Streak at Home

After flying high against Strathmore two weeks ago, Exeter came back down to earth. 2025 welcomed the Exeter Monarchs with a 4-1 loss courtesy of the Tulare Western Mustangs on Thursday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Monarchs were already down 3-0.

Exeter's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-2-1. As for Tulare Western, their record now sits at 8-4-1.

Exeter will face off against Immanuel at 6:00 p.m. on January 9th. As for Tulare Western, they will challenge Mission Oak at 6:30 p.m. on January 9th. Tulare Western will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each matchup than the last.
