Soquel has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge the Carmel Padres at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Friday, Soquel was the victim of a rough 52-29 loss at the hands of Salinas.
Meanwhile, Carmel's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a hard 54-35 fall against Hilmar.
Carmel's loss came about despite a quality game from Savanna Radowicz, who scored 8 points along with 11 rebounds. Myah Koster was another key contributor, scoring 5 points along with 6 rebounds.
Soquel's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-4. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 28.7 points per game. As for Carmel, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.
