Football Game Preview: Andale Indians vs. Chapman Irish

The Andale Indians will face off against the Chapman Irish on Thursday. One thing working in Andale's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.

Andale's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They breezed past Hesston to the tune of 57-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Indians' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas football rankings (they are ranked 13th, while the Swathers are ranked 79th).

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Chapman and Rock Creek had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Irish were beaten by the Mustangs 57-12 on Friday. The Irish were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-6.

Chapman didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Dominic Krogman and Colton Bell.

Andale's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Chapman, they dropped their record down to 1-7 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Everything came up roses for Andale against Chapman in their previous meeting back in November of 2018, as the team secured a 66-22 win. Will the Indians repeat their success, or do the Irish have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
