Basketball Game Preview: Antioch Panthers vs. Salinas Cowboys

Having just played yesterday, the Antioch Panthers will jump right back in to play the Salinas Cowboys at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Antioch saw some tournament action on Friday. They lost 70-48 to Willow Glen. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Salinas lost to Valley Christian on the road by a 51-36 margin on Friday. The Cowboys have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Antioch will need focus on slowing down Alice Uchida, one of several Salinas players who made an impact when they last played. She posted 12 points. Jennifer Rivera was another key player, putting up ten points.

Salinas' loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Antioch, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
