Soccer Recap: Jewish Community Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Jewish Community couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They came up short against the Summit Tamalpais Timberwolves on Thursday, falling 9-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Summit Tamalpais this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-1 back in April.

Jewish Community's goal came courtesy of Sarah Zimmerman, which was the first she's scored this season.

Jewish Community's loss dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Summit Tamalpais, their win bumped their record up to 10-1.

Jewish Community does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Summit Tamalpais, they will challenge Cristo Rey De La Salle at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Summit Tamalpais' defense better be ready for this one: Cristo Rey De La Salle have averaged an impressive 4.9 goals per game this season.
