Recap: Middletown Blue Raiders vs. Susquehanna Township HANNA
The Middletown Blue Raiders were the 41-35 winner over the Susquehanna Township HANNA when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Middletown received a tough blow on Tuesday as they fell 55-36 to Susquehanna Township. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Middletown has scored all season.
It was another big night for Schuyler Coles, who scored 25 points along with six rebounds and six steals for Susquehanna Township. That makes it three consecutive games in which Coles has scored at least a third of Susquehanna Township's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava London, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
Middletown has fallen quite a ways from their 12-6 record last season and are now at 2-4. As for Susquehanna Township, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.
Middletown will be playing in front of their home fans against East Pennsboro at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Susquehanna Township, they will head out on the road to face off against Bishop McDevitt at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Bishop McDevitt is on a five-game streak of home wins, Susquehanna Township a nine-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season)-- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
