Baseball Game Preview: Discovery Titans vs. Dacula Falcons

For the second straight game, Discovery will face off against Dacula. Discovery will be playing at home against Dacula at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Discovery is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

Discovery lost 12-2 to Dacula on Monday. That's two games in a row now that the Titans have lost by exactly ten runs.

For Dacula's part, they got a massive performance out of Reiston Durham, who fired off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 3-for-3. Dacula is undefeated when Durham posts three or more RBI, but 7-10 otherwise. Grant Dzikowski was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-2.

Dacula was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .524. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Discovery only posted a batting average of .353.

Dacula is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-10 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. Discovery now has a losing record of 6-7.
