Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Win Is West Point-Beemer's Eighth in Last Nine Outings

Pierce came into Tuesday's match looking for another win against West Point-Beemer, but Allie Kaup wouldn't allow it. The West Point-Beemer Cadets snuck past the Pierce Bluejays with a 40-35 victory on Tuesday thanks in part to Kaup, who went 6 for 10 on her way to 15 points along with six rebounds and five blocks. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of West Point-Beemer's points.

Another player making a difference was Addison Toelle, who posted ten points. That's the most points she has posted since back in February of 2024.

West Point-Beemer is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.1 points per game. As for Pierce, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-6.

West Point-Beemer will welcome Wakefield at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Pierce, they will venture away from home to take on Crofton on Thursday.
