Tehachapi waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 57-48 victory over the Kennedy Thunderbirds. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Warriors' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 492nd, while the Thunderbirds are ranked 1340th).

Tehachapi's win bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Kennedy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-12.

Looking ahead, Tehachapi will take on Calaveras at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Kennedy, they will challenge Delano at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Thunderbirds will be up against the Tigers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 50 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
