Encinal is 10-0 against Arroyo since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Encinal Jets are taking a road trip to challenge the Arroyo Dons at 5:30 p.m.

On Saturday, Encinal ended up a good deal behind Alameda and lost 51-34.

Meanwhile, Arroyo hadn't done well against Mt. Eden recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Arroyo sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 43-40 victory over Mt. Eden. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Dons as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Arroyo's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-8. As for Encinal, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.

Encinal strolled past Arroyo in their previous meeting back in January of 2024 by a score of 42-27. Will Encinal repeat their success, or does Arroyo have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
