Football Recap: Thunder Ridge Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Thunder Ridge can now relate to. They fell just short of the Frankfort Wildcats by a score of 38-36 on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 44-36 on October 3rd.

Tate Foreman threw for 152 yards and one touchdown. Evan Slavik was his top target, picking up 140 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Thunder Ridge moved to 4-5 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Frankfort, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-4 record this season.

Thunder Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Frankfort, they will face off against Marmaton Valley on Friday. Frankfort will need to watch out since Marmaton Valley has now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
