Softball Recap: Hammon Comes Up Short

The matchup between Hammon and Carnegie on Tuesday hardly resembled the 1-1 effort from their previous meeting. The Warriors lost 19-4 to the Wildcats. That's two games in a row now that the Warriors have lost by exactly 15 runs.

This is the second loss in a row for Hammon and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Hammon will be playing at home against Geronimo at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup will give the Warriors their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Carnegie, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Hydro-Eakly at 5:30 p.m. on September 15.
