Baseball Recap: Eagle's Landing Takes a Loss

Eagle's Landing was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 23rd straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Stockbridge Tigers, falling 15-3. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 19-1 to the Tigers when the teams met back in March of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Eagle's Landing saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Pheniox Baker, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Eagle's Landing's loss dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Stockbridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-9 record this season.

While Eagle's Landing had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:55 p.m. on Wednesday.
