Game recap: Rogers High School Football Team bests Duluth East

DULUTH, Minn. - Rogers (Minn.) jumped out to an early lead against Duluth East (Duluth, Minn.) and never looked back on the way to a 52-6 victory on Saturday.

The Royals put up 17 points in the opening frame. Rogers scored on a field goal by Isaac Aanerud, a defensive touchdown and a Travis Dietl touchdown run.

After taking the lead on a field goal by Aanerud in the first quarter, RHS was up 31-0 at the half.

The Royals expanded their lead to 52 points entering the fourth quarter. Rogers scored three times in the third, including once on a touchdown run by Dietl.

Duluth East's only touchdown came on a 10-yard run in the fourth quarter.

With the win the Royals extended their winning streak to four games. The loss was the fourth in a row for the Greyhounds.
