Soccer Recap: Narbonne Takes a Loss

Narbonne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Gardena Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Gardena this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 back in December of 2025.

Narbonne's goal came courtesy of Zoe Powell, who's now up to three this season.

Narbonne's loss dropped their record down to 1-9-1. As for Gardena, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, Narbonne and Gardena will both be playing Banning the next time they take the pitch. The Gauchos will host the Pilots at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Panthers will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
