Baseball Recap: M.L. King Comes Up Short

M.L. King was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 14-2 to the Pace Academy Knights.

M.L. King saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaharre Leach, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base. That's the most hits Leach has posted since March 3rd.

M.L. King's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Pace Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.

While M.L. King had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:55 p.m. on Monday.
