Basketball Recap: Columbia Montour Vo-Tech Takes a Loss

Columbia Montour Vo-Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 32nd straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by Meadowbrook Christian 33-2. The Rams were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 24-1.

It was another big night for Madalyn Fasnacht, who went 8 of 11 en route to 17 points and eight steals for Meadowbrook Christian. Fasnacht is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 30 games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma George, who posted two points along with five rebounds and four steals.

Columbia Montour Vo-Tech's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Meadowbrook Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Columbia Montour Vo-Tech will venture away from home to face off against Neumann Regional Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Meadowbrook Christian, they will welcome South Williamsport at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
