With a playoff win on the line, Wamego rose to the challenge on Friday. They secured a 33-27 W over the Buhler Crusaders. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 27-14 back in October.

Wamego pushed their record up to 8-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 39.8 points over those games. As for Buhler, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.

Coming up, Wamego will face off against Augusta on Friday. The Red Raiders will need to watch out since the Orioles have now posted at least 31 points in their last three matchups. Buhler does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
