Softball Game Preview: KIPP Atlanta Collegiate Warriors vs. Carver Panthers

The KIPP Atlanta Collegiate Warriors will head out to challenge the Carver Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. KIPP Atlanta Collegiate has given up an average of 12.3 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

KIPP Atlanta Collegiate lost 15-3 to Therrell on Tuesday. The Warriors have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Breanna Haynes made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Ty-Leece Taylor, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one run.

Carver couldn't beat Mundy's Mill on Wednesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fourth inning. The Panthers came up short against the Tigers, falling 12-5.

Carver's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for KIPP Atlanta Collegiate, they suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 5-5.

KIPP Atlanta Collegiate suffered a grim 29-13 defeat to Carver in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Warriors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
