Softball Recap: Crisp County Takes a Loss

Crisp County fell victim to Tattnall County and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 8-0 to the Warriors, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Cougars just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

Crisp County's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Tattnall County, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crisp County will head out to square off against Schley County at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Tattnall County, they will venture away from home to take on Telfair County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Trojans have averaged an impressive 8.4 runs per game this season.
