Soccer Recap: Prince Avenue Christian Comes Up Short

Prince Avenue Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Westminster Christian Academy Lions. While losing is never fun, Prince Avenue Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 416th, while Westminster Christian Academy are ranked 204th).

Tison McGuirt and Sim Tolbert scored both of Prince Avenue Christian's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Prince Avenue Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Westminster Christian Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1-1.

Prince Avenue Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lake Oconee Academy at 7:30 p.m. on the 15th.
