Recap: Gabrielino Eagles vs. Arroyo Knights
The Gabrielino Eagles can now show off 11 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They breezed by Arroyo at home to the tune of 53-17. The win was familiar territory for Gabrielino who now have eight in a row.
Mia Lim continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 23 points along with six rebounds and five steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Gabrielino's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Paris Ngeam, who scored four points along with five steals.
Gabrielino's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-7. As for Arroyo, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-17 record this season.
Gabrielino will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Simi Valley at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Gabrielino focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Friday. As for Arroyo, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Nuview Bridge at 7:00 p.m.
