Recap: Franklin County Seahawks vs. Lincoln Trojans
On Monday, Franklin County was the victim of a tough 69-43 loss at the hands of Lincoln. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Franklin County has scored all season.
Ethan Kembro and Sadiq Jones certainly did their best on Monday to try and avoid the loss. Kembro scored 17 points along with five blocks, while Jones scored seven points. Kembro set a new season high mark in blocks with five.
Franklin County struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only two offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
This is the second loss in a row for Franklin County and nudges their season record down to 4-2. As for Lincoln, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.
Franklin County will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Mosley at 7:00 p.m. Mosley will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. As for Lincoln, they will head out on the road to face off against Leon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Leon will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 563rd, while Lincoln is ranked 218th).
