Basketball Recap: Corning Snaps 11-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Corning hadn't done well against Oroville recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Corning Cardinals came out on top against the Oroville Tigers by a score of 24-16. This was a revenge game for the Cardinals: when they faced off against the Tigers back in January, they had to take a 43-22 loss.

Corning's win ended an 11-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-15. As for Oroville, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-15.

Corning will take on Gridley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oroville, they will head out to face off against Orland at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
