Soccer Recap: George Walton Academy Takes a Loss

George Walton Academy came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 6-1 to the Tallulah Falls Indians. While losing is never fun, George Walton Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 340th, while Tallulah Falls are ranked 56th).

George Walton Academy has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6-1 record this season. The win was the sixth in a row for Tallulah Falls, bringing their record up to 10-1.

Coincidentally, George Walton Academy and Tallulah Falls will both be playing Athens Christian the next time they take the pitch. George Walton Academy will host Athens Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Tallulah Falls will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
