San Gorgonio won the last time they faced Arroyo Valley and things went their way on Wednesday too. The San Gorgonio Spartans narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Arroyo Valley Hawks 2-1. The win was nothing new for the Spartans as they're now sitting on four straight.

Yuliana Reyes and Jayla Orozco scored both of San Gorgonio's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 21 goals.

San Gorgonio's record is now 16-2-4. As for Arroyo Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14-3 record this season.
