Softball Recap: Farmington Comes Up Short

Farmington fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Poplar Bluff on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Mules by a score of 9-8. The defeat leaves the Knights still looking for their first win of the season.

Farmington's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Poplar Bluff, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Coming up, Farmington will be playing at home against Central at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Poplar Bluff, they will square off against Jackson at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
