Soccer Game Preview: Commerce vs. Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy

The Commerce Tigers will challenge Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Commerce is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.

Commerce fell victim to Flowery Branch and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They came up short against the Falcons, falling 9-0.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy). They were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over Oglethorpe County on Tuesday. Considering Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy has won four matches by more than three goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory got Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy back to even at 6-6. As for Commerce, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.

Commerce might still be hurting after the 12-2 loss they got from Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can Commerce avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
