Baseball Recap: Flowery Branch Comes Up Short

Flowery Branch was the 7-0 winner over Walnut Grove when they last played one another back in March of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. The Falcons fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Flowery Branch's loss dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Walnut Grove, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season.

While Flowery Branch had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
