Southern and Trimble are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2021, but not for long. After both having extra time off, the two teams will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Everything went their way against South Gallia on Tuesday as Trimble made off with a 3-0 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Tomcats have posted since October 18, 2023.
Trimble never let South Gallia on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-11, 25-22.
Trimble was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 16 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September.
Southern's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-5. As for Trimble, they moved to 6-17 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.
