Holy Family put their dominant pitcher on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Monday. They never let the Eaton Reds get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Reds: they've now won four in a row.

Emmaline Humphreys was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 16 over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one RBI.

Humphreys wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Giuliana Magnetti, who went 1-for-3 with one run. Graci Baker also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Holy Family's win bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Eaton, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 11-3.

Holy Family wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Erie on the 16th. As for Eaton, they have also already played their next contest, a 9-0 win against Valley on the 16th.
