Game recap: Mountain Lake/Butterfield-Odin High School Football Team beats Nicollet

NICOLLET, Minn. - Mountain Lake/Butterfield-Odin (Mountain Lake, Minn.) put up 21 points in the fourth quarter in Saturday's game to seal their 53-28 victory over Nicollet (Minn.).

After taking the lead on a passing touchdown in the first quarter, the Wolverines led 24-8 at the half.

Each side put up eight points during the third quarter, and the fourth quarter began with the margin still at 16.

The loss snapped the Raiders' 9-game winning streak.

Dalton Elliott played well for Nicollet. The sophomore quarterback threw three touchdowns and ran for one touchdown.



NHS came in allowing just 16.0 points per game this season.

The loss comes after Nicollet defeated Madelia 33-26 last week. With the win Mountain Lake/Butterfield-Odin extended its winning streak to four games.
