Liberty County put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Claxton Tigers by a score of 7-4. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

The team relied heavily on Glemon English, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last six times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Shedrick Pass, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

Liberty County's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Claxton, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Liberty County is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Brantley County at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Claxton, they will venture away from home to take on Groves at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
