Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only North Cobb Christian walked away with it. They walked away with a 5-2 win over the Athens Academy Spartans on Friday. The victory was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won three matches in a row.

The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.6 runs over those games.
