Baseball Recap: Skipstone Academy Takes a Loss

Skipstone Academy blew Central Christian out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Thursday Central Christian got their revenge. The Warriors fell just short of the Crusaders by a score of 8-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Warriors have suffered since April 23, 2024.

Jace Wilson put in work while hitting and pitching. He tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

In other batting news, Braden Snider was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Carter Cook was another key player, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.
