Basketball Game Preview: Lincoln Tigers vs. Franklin Panthers

Lincoln and Franklin are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2019, but not for long. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Lincoln Tigers face off against the Franklin Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Lincoln will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Lincoln will bounce into Wednesday's game after beating Bravo, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Lincoln enjoyed a cozy 47-32 win over Bravo on Friday. The Tigers pushed the score to 44-17 by the end of the third, a deficit the Knights cut but never quite recovered from.

Meanwhile, Franklin unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 42-29 to Arcadia. The matchup marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Franklin's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Lincoln, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.

Lincoln was taken down by Franklin 48-19 when the teams last played back in January of 2024. Can Lincoln avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
