Football Recap: Lake City Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Lake City took on Goodhue on Friday. The Tigers took a blow against the Wildcats, falling 62-14. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota football rankings (they are ranked 144th, while the Wildcats are ranked 49th).

Lake City's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Goodhue, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Looking ahead, Lake City will face off against Zumbrota-Mazeppa at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Goodhue, they will challenge Kenyon-Wanamingo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will be up against the Knights' rather soft defense (which has allowed 49.25 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
