The Sherwood Warriors beat the Clarksburg Coyotes 4-2 on Thursday. Considering Sherwood's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

The victory got Sherwood back to even at 1-1-1. As for Clarksburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sherwood will take on Springbrook at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clarksburg, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Northwest at 3:30 p.m. on the 22nd.
