Baseball Recap: Danville Comes Up Short

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Thursday as neither Danville nor West Jessamine made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Admirals fell just short of the Colts by a score of 3-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Colts this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-3 on May 2nd.

Danville saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Wyatt Gale, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Danville's loss dropped their record down to 24-13. As for West Jessamine, their victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-18.

As of now, neither Danville nor the Colts have any future games scheduled.
