Basketball Recap: Huntington Park Spartans vs. Bell Eagles
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Garfield, the Huntington Park Spartans were happy to have found some success on Friday. They came out on top against Bell by a score of 41-31. That's another feather in the cap for Huntington Park, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Among those leading the charge was Juana Vargas, who scored 17 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Angelina Moreno was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Huntington Park has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-18 record this season. As for Bell, they are on a 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.
Huntington Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Bell also has no future games currently scheduled.
