            Football Recap: Cascade Champions vs. Watertown Purple Tigers        
        
		
        
        
            Cascade extended their losing streak  to four  on Friday, dropping them down to 3-5. They received a  blow  as they fell  27-9 to the Watertown Purple Tigers. The Champions were not able to make up for their  loss to the Purple Tigers from their previous meeting  back in September of 2024.
 Sam Bradley threw for 144 yards  on 13 of 25 attempts.   Andrew Dowell was his top target, picking up 58 receiving yards.
As for Watertown, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-3 record  this season. The  victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 27.7 points over those games.
  Garrett Davis continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 188 yards and a pair of  touchdowns while picking up 7.2 yards per carry, and also throwing for 141 yards and one  TD. Those  188  rushing yards gave  him a new career-high.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming  contests. Cascade will take on Marion County at 8:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Warriors' defense has only allowed 7.6  points per game  this season, so the Champions' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Watertown, they will square off against Liberty Creek at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Purple Tigers will be up against the Wolves' rather soft defense (which has allowed 25.88  points per  matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
