Volleyball Game Preview: Wheeler Wildcats vs. Trinity Christian Lions

A feisty cat fight will be fought as Wheeler Wildcats take on Trinity Christian Lions at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wheeler is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Wheeler is headed into the game having just posted their closest victory since April 13, 2024 on Tuesday. They won by a set and slipped past Denmark 2-1.

Meanwhile, Trinity Christian came up short against Loganville on Thursday and fell 2-0. The loss put an end to the Lions' undefeated start to the season.

Trinity Christian may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 18 points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-18.

Wheeler's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Trinity Christian, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Wheeler couldn't quite get it done against Trinity Christian when the teams last played back in May of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can Wheeler avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
