Soccer Game Preview: Bleckley County vs. Fitzgerald

The Bleckley County Royals will take on the Fitzgerald Purple Hurricane at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Last Thursday, Bleckley County didn't have quite enough to beat Central and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, Fitzgerald kept a clean sheet against Berrien on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Rebels 1-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Bleckley County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Fitzgerald, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.

Bleckley County took their victory against Fitzgerald when the teams last played back in March of 2019 by a conclusive 10-0. Will Bleckley County repeat their success, or does Fitzgerald have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
