Baseball Recap: Paulding County Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Paulding County, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with a 10-5 victory over the Hiram Hornets on Monday. That's more bragging rights for the Patriots, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Braden Bodnar looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-low in walks (zero).

On the hitting side, Tucker White and Hudson McEntyre did most of the damage at the plate: White went 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI, while McEntyre scored a run and stole a base while going 4-for-4. The dominant performance also gave McEntyre a new career-high in RBI (two). James Jones was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

The win got Paulding County back to even at 1-1. As for Hiram, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
