Soccer Game Preview: Aragon vs. Woodside

The Aragon Dons will square off against the Woodside Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Aragon's last six matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Aragon is headed into the contest having not lost since January 16 and will look to keep things rolling. They and Menlo-Atherton finished up their game with a 1-1 draw on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Woodside, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They never let Hillsdale onto the board and left with a 1-0 win on Tuesday. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 166th, while the FIGHTING KNIGHTS are ranked 456th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Woodside's one-goal win came courtesy of Abigail Clarke, who's now up to two this season.

Aragon's draw gives them a new season record of 8-2-3. As for Woodside, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3-5.
